Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs)
IOPs typically run three to four days a week for up to four to six hours a day. Moms bring their babies and take part in group therapy sessions, individual sessions with a psychiatrist and usually receive free support group admission once they have graduated from the program. This can be a good option for moms whose mental health needs are not being met by a weekly community support group.
